Our History in Loudon, NH

In 1978, Fillmore Industries, Inc. was established when Arthur Fillmore began yet another family venture. Working in the construction industry since a young man, he was noted for building companies from the ground up and running them into successful operations. With a small undeveloped parcel of land, Arthur and his family decided to make this business a family run operation where everyone who wanted could become involved. Over the years the family purchased several more parcels of land and began adding more equipment which created today's large aggregate surface mining and quarry operation.

With his oldest son Greg by his side, the company grew from simply manufacturing a variety of construction aggregate materials into more specialized products for roofers and landscapers as well as customized blends for their customers. Many of Arthur's seven children have been involved over the years to keep the “small family business” feel with their customers together with employees who began as early as 1978 with Arthur and Greg continue to promise “Quality and Service”.

Today, we are one of New Hampshire's largest suppliers of natural stone servicing customers across our state as well as Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont and Connecticut. As the operation grew, so did the fleet of equipment consisting of screening and crushing plants, loaders, excavators, delivery trucks and trailers as well as large earth hauling vehicles.

With Greg now at the helm, this “small family business” continues to pride itself on that same company motto of Quality and Service as it now reaches into the third generation of Fillmore's.
